Karl Daniels is a Johannesburg-based cinematic editorial portrait photographer and lighting specialist known for his studio-driven, concept-led approach to image-making. His work focuses on intentional light design and visual storytelling, creating impactful portraits that blend technical precision with creative direction. As a Godox South Africa Brand Ambassador, Karl combines expertise in lighting systems, photography education, and Adobe Photoshop to produce compelling visual narratives across creative, commercial, and educational spaces.

I was born and raised in the UK Move to South Africa in 1990 and have contributed to the photography community for may years

Portraiture, Events and Product Photography is what we specialise in in our Studio in Northwold Randburg. We also have invested into our KJD Photography Live Streaming department.

Just like with my photography, I enjoy the simpler things in life - being out and about with friends, good food, and nice views.
