Description
Hyenas are a group of carnivorous mammals that belong to the family Hyaenidae. They are known for their unique characteristics, social behaviors, and adaptations that allow them to thrive in a variety of environments, primarily in Africa and some parts of Asia. There are four known species of hyenas: the spotted hyena, the brown hyena, the striped hyena, and the aardwolf.
